My Future Job

About a year ago, I started to study psychology. The reason why I entered this major was to become a sport psychologist. Right now I'm not that sure of it, but I think it would be really great to work as one. I'm quite certain that it has all i want in a job, the outdoor placement, being around something i like, and it will probably be different every day from the next one. I have been told that this job might not have the greatest salary, but at a certain point I left behind the idea of having a luxurious life. Well, even though it is stated that I want my job to be around sports, I haven’t said which one, and that is gymnastics and others that are related to it. I also like some team sports like cheerleading and volleyball, but I don’t prefer those, I think if you have to worry about a whole group of persons you won’t be able to help them in a significant level. That’s why I think it’s better to only work with individual sports athletes instead of teams. By the way, I gravitate towards those sports because I used to practice them. Even though I’ve developed that much this prospection, I’m not that sure anymore if this is the direction which I want to develop my career.

My favorite writer

I have to say, I'm not quite the great reader, nevertheless I've read some books. One of those is A Clash of Kings, which belongs to the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, which were written by George Raymond Richard Martin. He was born in New Jersey in September 20 of 1948. He is an American novelist and short story writer, screenwriter and tv producer. One of his biggest quirks when it comes to writing is his absolute control of every action of his characters, he uses quite usually resources like the Chejov’s Gun, Red Herring, Planting and Payoff, which might be considered basic at writing, but when used well are fantastic. In my opinion his biggest creation corresponds to A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of books which has become one of the most watched tv shows ever (Game of Thrones), it’s also a best seller around the globe. The point that really made me love this series is the way that he “kills” his characters, the biggest example of why it is a good thing is the “Red Wedding”, a really great plot twist if you ask me. Now, did you know him? have you read him? Did you like it?, leave a comment about it if you like.

My favorite TV series

How Game of Thrones was slowly getting murdered

Book Illustration of the
"Iron Throne"

Today I’ll talk about what was my favorite tv show. It is an HBO series that’s available in HBO GO. First, I loved how there wasn’t really a “good” side which you think it was always doing right, all characters were really humans in the way they behaved, and that’s kind of what made this series great.
On the other side there was all this political drama, this is the plot device of the series, the “iron throne”, which was very interesting and complex at some point, I loved the foreshadowing and subtexts of every plot-twist and that they felt unexpected even though viewer should knew that was going to happen. Nevertheless, in their lasts seasons it started to develop predictable, some characters were so powerful in political and belligerent terms that was obvious who would get the throne or at least who might win the war, and then the story changed into a manichaeistic scenario with the night king plot, then that was dumped, it felt rushed and quite weird how the story kept changing its focus to then end in something that wasn't really what should have happened in terms of plot device and what characters aspired. That was it, I’d like to know what you think about the end of this series if you’ve watched it, so if you feel like it leave a comment.

The best concert I've had

The best Festival I've assisted to

Some years ago, there was this big rock and metal festival for which I was super excited to assist. At that moment I was only fifteen y/o, it´s quite nostalgic to think about it. My parents wouldn’t allow me to go all by myself, so I asked a few friends if they could accompany me, I successfully got a “yes” by all of them. Getting back to the fest, it is called “Santiago Gets Louder”, it was their first version back in 2015 at Hangares Suricato.

The headliners of that version were Faith no more, System of a Down and Deftones, we were looking forward impatiently for them to present, but they were scheduled to be the last bands in the two big scenarios, nevertheless a lot of assistants were really energetic all day long.

A lot of things happened that day, but most of them are doomed by the fact that this fest was during Sunday and we´ll have a test at Monday's morning. Thankfully, a friend’s parents went for us, since the concert ended late at night. It was really fun.
